Terms of Service

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, buying a plan, calling the API or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you confirm you can bind it, and "you" includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Synero does

Synero sends your question to one to four third-party AI models (from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI). With two or more models it also produces a consensus answer and an analysis of where the models agree and disagree. API and MCP callers can also run a council of four persona-prompted advisors.

We add, change and retire models and features over time, including when a provider retires a model. We will try to give notice of changes that materially reduce what a paid plan includes.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You must give accurate account information and keep your password, API keys and connector tokens confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account and keys. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you believe your account or a key has been compromised.

One person, one free account. Creating multiple accounts to get extra free queries is not allowed.

4. Free use

Asking your own question requires an account. A new account includes 3 free queries on our Council models. We may change or end free use at any time, and we may limit or block free use that looks automated or abusive.

5. Plans, credits and payment

• Subscription. The Synero plan costs $10 per month (plus any applicable tax), renews automatically each month until you cancel, and adds $10 of usage credits to your balance at the start of each paid billing cycle.
• Top-ups. You can buy one-time credit packs ($5, $10 or $25), with or without a subscription. Pack credits are added to your balance once the payment goes through.
• How credits are used. Each query uses credits based on the tokens the models read and write and on any web searches they run, at the prices shown in the app. Prices include a margin over what the AI providers charge us. Your usage page shows what each query cost. Voice input also uses credits for each recording we turn into text.
• Credit balance. Unused credits, included and purchased, stay in your balance from month to month and can be spent whether or not you have an active subscription. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not a stored-value account. Credits still in your balance when you delete your account are forfeited.
• Payment processors. Payments are handled by Whop. We never see or store your full card number. Purchases made through Whop are also subject to Whop's own terms.
• Price changes. We may change prices or what a plan includes with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Changes apply from your next billing cycle after the notice period. If you do not agree, cancel before then.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, that cycle's credits are not added until it is paid. Credit already in your balance can still be spent.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from the billing page in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals and future monthly credits; credit already in your balance stays spendable. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy at synero.ai/refunds.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service, or let anyone else use it, to:

• break any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• create or share sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence or terrorism, targeted harassment, or malware;
• seek serious help with weapons capable of mass harm, or with attacks on critical infrastructure or systems you are not authorized to test;
• violate the usage policies of the AI providers whose models answer your question (including those of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI);
• access other users' data, probe or attack our systems, or get around rate limits, billing, free-use limits or other controls;
• scrape the Service, or resell or sublicense access to it, except as allowed for the API in section 8;
• use the Service to make important decisions about people (such as credit, employment, housing or legal status) without human review.

We may refuse, block or remove content and may suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. API, MCP and connectors

You may call the Synero API and MCP endpoint with your own API key or through an approved connector (such as ChatGPT, Claude or Grok), and build Synero into your own products. Usage is billed to your account at the same rates as the app and is subject to rate limits. Do not share keys publicly or embed them in client-side code. You may not use the API to build a product whose main purpose is to resell Synero answers as a competing multi-model service.

The open-source Synero MCP package (@syneroai/mcp) is licensed under the MIT License; that license, not this section, governs the package's code.

9. Your content and AI output

You keep all rights to what you send to the Service ("Input"), including files and images, and, as between you and Synero, you own the answers the Service returns to you ("Output"). You give us a limited permission to store, process and send your Input and Output to our service providers and the AI providers only as needed to run the Service for you, keep it secure and meet legal obligations. We do not use your Input or Output to train AI models.

You are responsible for your Input, and you confirm you have the rights to submit it. Output is generated by AI, can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and may be similar to output other users receive. It is not professional advice. Check important answers yourself and do not rely on Output for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions without a qualified professional.

If you make a chat public with a share link or publish a template, anyone with the link (or, for public templates, anyone) can see it. You can turn sharing off at any time.

10. License and our property

Subject to these terms, we give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service while your account is in good standing. The Service, including its software, design, prompts, analyses and the Synero name and logo, belongs to Synero and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the Service except where the law allows it despite this restriction.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

11. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties, including AI model providers, hosting, database and payment providers. We are not responsible for their services, and their outages or changes may affect the Service. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only.

12. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings; this cancels any active subscription and permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if you file a payment dispute or chargeback, if required by law, or if your use creates risk for us or other users. Where reasonable we will tell you why. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnity) survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, SYNERO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE, OR THAT ANY MODEL WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, SYNERO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR ANY OUTPUT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND US $50.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is the case, they apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

15. Indemnity

If you use the Service for business purposes, you will defend and indemnify Synero against third-party claims arising from your Input, your use of Output, or your breach of these terms or the law, including reasonable legal fees.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before they take effect; other changes take effect when posted. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute that is not resolved will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, and you and Synero consent to those courts' jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring claims in the courts where you live, and nothing here takes away mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

18. General

These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and Synero about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
